Women do much more than having babies!
Writing this post sprang in my mind as I was watching cbs news last week and the breaking news was about American teenager girl who climbed the Everest Mt. with her father!!
Samantha Larson is the youngest person ever who climbed that giant mountain and reached its summit. I was speechless and amazed indeed, Everest?? WOW! what a brave talented girl she is!!
Sagarmatha or Chomolungma, those were the two names of Everest in Nepal and Tibet in the past, later it was named after Sir George Everest in 1865, the British surveyor-general of India.
This girl will have so much to do in the future, she is so brave and fearless, she was posting through her personal blog while she was at camp, climbing and on the mountain summit!!
I left a comment on her blog and wished that Iraqi teenagers with their tons of hobbies if it wasn't for this war and unstable situation, they would so much more...I am glad because a teenager woman improved that woman can do every thing and she dealt with the matter as if she was having an easy exam...I am sad because our women and in spite of their intelligence and career they can't exploit that because dealing with the horrible situation is almost occupying a big time of their daily life business.
Nonetheless, I am going to talk about one of the Iraqi brave women who managed to meet one of the kidnappers and got over him with her wisdom. She is not armored with climbing mountains hobby, not with scuba dive or jumping professionally on the trampoline, she wasn't born to be an inspector working in any intelligence agency, not at all, yeh, she drives a car that is one thing! ...
She is a simple and more than simple house wife living by herself after losing her husband, even her only daughter got married and moved to live with her husband...
Her daughter's brother-in-law was threatened to leave his governorate job, his house, and leave the city for good, he was getting phone calls all day long on his cellphone, unknown people who kept calling him kept teasing him, threatening to kill him and his family, they admitted to him that they love the way his house looks and the place which was located at, and its time to leave it for them!!
Like any other human being, how do you feel when some one forces you to leave your house and neighborhood to an unknown direction?? Of course you get upset, furious and can't believe what is going on!! The asked him to pay $100,000 as a ransom, he doesn't and will never be able to have that amount as long as he works as a governmental employee...they guy was shocked, he left his house and took his family to somewhere else until further notice!!
The brave woman "B" that is how I'm gonna call her, knew about this story and asked her daughter to get the guy's cellphone and leave it with her mom (the brave woman), MOM??? Are you serious? why do you wanna answer this phone while there is so much going on with its owner? daughter said.
It is none of your business, I know those guys are playing games only, so I will be the one who will take it...the mother replied.
As soon as B got the phone, it started ringing over and over again, B answered the phone.
B: Yes...
Unknown manish voice: Where is R?
B: what do want from him? Money? Kidnap? Kill?
Man: Yes, money if he won't give it to me, I am going to kill him, wife, children, relatives, and you!
B: No you won't, as a matter of fact you are a chicken shit can't do nothing...how much do you want?
Man: Oh you sounds a fearless woman, don't you? I want $100,000
B: laughed out loud, Gee!! You won't get a cent! shame on you, instead of threatening people that way, go and find a job so God can be proud of you...
After 30 minutes of negotiations, he went down to $20,000. she told him all what I have is $2500, if you want then tell me where can I find you? If don't, then the hell with you!
He told her to meet him at X place by her self with the money, and not to be accompanied by any person! She agreed and hit the road.
B arrived in the exact time and place, got out of her jalopy car and waited for the man...few minutes later she saw a tall white nie looking man wearing the Arabic wear (White Dishdasha) crossed the street walked towards her...
B said that her heart was beating so fast at that moment...
Man: Hello, huh so you are the brave woman" he chuckled.B: here you go the damn $2500 and I know God will curse you, you won't enjoy doing any thing with this money! He thanked her and greeted her for her bravery...B: before you leave I want to ask you how about if I was carrying a mobile phone supported with camera? What will you do??? Man: you can take pictures if you want, no one can find me !! haha..
As she drove her car forward she kept looking at him on the mirror, a stopped a Taxi and disappeared...
Since that day no one has called R on his cellphone...
Well, I am amazed too...
My daily life example of brave women is my step mom, I mentioned that in my previous
posts...
God bless all women :)

women ROCK. That's all there is to it! Great story Marsh!
Hello TG, you are right :) we rock
well, you are right, very right about women and children... you are writing one excellent blog, that is an achievement, simply because not anyone can have love, innocence, determination, and energy like you do... very little people can do this
That is pretty unusual, but I have heard stories with the same weirdness factor ; I do believe that her losing of the husband harbored this angry determination which brought out this behavior. I think she indeed is a brave woman.
